HEWI, the specialist for functional and design-orientated sanitary solutions, is expanding its portfolio with an innovative baby changing table for public areas. The product combines the highest safety standards with convenient handling and a modern, timeless design that blends seamlessly into different room concepts.

The baby changing table was designed by Holscher Design, a renowned and award-winning Danish agency for strategic product design with over 50 years of experience. Deeply rooted in the Danish-Scandinavian design tradition, Holscher Design creates thoughtful products and services for its clients.

The baby changing table offers practical details for more comfort and organisation: Integrated hooks on the sides allow bags or jackets to be hung up, while a pocket on the back allows wet wipes or other utensils to be stored quickly at hand.

The main table surface is made of high-quality, easy-to-clean PUR foam in matt iron grey. The robust metal support plate is also manufactured in the same colour. The other metal parts have a matt grain white finish, while the striking orange-coloured band adds a modern accent. This colour scheme creates an elegant look that blends harmoniously into public sanitary facilities.

The controlled lowering ensures additional safety and allows for convenient one-handed opening. Assembly is straightforward and the space-saving design makes the changing table ideal for various areas of use.

The product complies with DIN 12221, type 2, and therefore fulfils all the necessary safety requirements for professional use. It is also TÜV-tested and GS-certified, which guarantees the highest quality standards and reliable protection. An optional safety belt is available for special requirements, for example in international markets.
